With its rich history and continued significance, the Apollo Theatre, considered the bastion of African-American culture and achievement, is one of the most fascinating chronicles in American History.

        This temple of soul food has drawn locals and tourists alike since 1962, and Sylvia herself still presides over this gem of Central Harlem. Enjoy a hearty meal with meat dishes and fantastic sides - whether mac & cheese or okra - and if you have any room left, the wonderful desserts will definitely fill you up!
